Organic Farm Holidays
La Cerqua welcomes its guests in ancient stone, wood and terracotta buildings powered only by clean energy; they silently tell the story of a territory, modelled on sandstone and covered with clay soils and oak forests. The small biological restaurant and bio-cafeteria of the farmhouse emanate the scents and aromas typical of the place, offering culinary delights cooked according to simple traditional peasant recipes.
Teaching Farm
La Cerqua presents itself as a flag of its own territory, and tells anyone who is interested to hear, the endless story of its landscape, shaped by climate and soil extremes against which human care has been mostly useless. A story that unfolds through two different educational paths: the knowledge and tastes of the Carpina Valley, and Leaf Peeping in the woods of Pietralunga.
AgroEcology
La Cerqua is a modern multifunctional agro-forestry-pastoral holiday farm, preserving the aspects and the memory of ancient family-run farms based on a close-circuit economy: cultivations, forest management and animal rearing are carried out according to the principles of organic and biodynamic farming, where the word quality, of the goods produced and of the living environment, replaces the word quantity.
